ESC-R19 Board Policy Manual

The Education Service Center-Region 19 Board of Directors has adopted policies for the educational governance of the Service Center. The policies establish the direction and structure for the Service Center through the authority granted by the Legislature. These policies establish the direction for the Service Center; they set the goals, assign authority, and establish controls that make governance and management possible.

ESC -R19 subscribes to the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Policy On-Line service which is a Web-based tool for publishing the ESC's TASB-localized policy manual on the Internet. Policy On-Line offers four different navigation methods—-search, browse table of contents, browse topical index, go directly to code—-that are always instantly accessible.
