Academic Services
Academic Services works collaboratively with school districts and campuses, as well as regional and state agencies, to bring educators the most up-to-date information and quality, research-based professional development in the areas of reading, English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, bilingual, ESL, Title III, gifted and talented and coordinated school health.
Field-Based Services
Field-Based Services provides a broad range of services, programs and assistance including Administrator Support, Educator Certification, School Improvement and NCLB/Federal Programs.
Mathematics and Science Services
Our mission is to support and provide high quality services in the area of K-12 Mathematics and Science to promote meaningful instruction to ensure the success of all students.
Migrant/Homeless Education
The Migrant Education Program works collaboratively with school districts, as well as regional, state and interstate agencies in an effort to provide high-quality academic and social opportunities for migrant students.
Other Services
ESC-R19's broad-based programs and services include some that are not easily categorized elsewhere but are essential in our commitment to providing educators with the tools they need to succeed.
Purchasing
Facilitator for procurement of goods and services in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations through various sources to include but not limited to; 1) The Region 19 Purchasing Cooperative sponsored by Education Service Center-Region 19, 2) TCPN Multi-State Purchasing Cooperative sponsored by Region 4 ESC, 3) TASB Buyboard Purchasing Cooperative sponsored by Texas Association of School Board, 4) TBPC Purchasing Cooperative sponsored by the Procurement at Comptroller of Public Accounts (PCPA), 5) DIR Technology Goods and Services sponsored by the Department of Information Resources, and 6) TIBH sponsored by the Texas Industries for the Blinds and Handicapped.
Special Education
Provides services, activities and technical assistance related to special education to educational personnel, parents and eligible students in accordance with all applicable federal law and regulations, state statutes, rules of the State Board of Education (SBOE) and Commissioner of Education, and the State Plan Under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Technology and Instructional Media Services (TIMS)
The Education Service Center-Region 19 Technology and Instructional Media Services department provides a wide variety of services to the regional districts and charter schools. Our goal is to support the telecommunications and instructional initiatives of our client districts and charter schools in order to promote efficiency and economy.
