The third annual Voice of the Mountains: El Paso Speech Therapy Conference Consists of 1.5 days of great learning for speech language pathologists locally and in the surrounding areas. The sessions are designed to interest those working in the public sector and schools, pediatric through adult. Partcipants will have access to handouts online and via CD, lunch will be provided on Friday. A small vendor area will be available also.
This conference is approved for 1.0 ASHA CEUs and 10 hours of approved TSHA CEUs. Participants are invited to attend a 2 hour ethics training with TSHA CEUs following the end of the conference on Saturday from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.
Jo Mascorro, M.Ed.
Jo Mascorro is an independent consultant who provides training throughout the nation in areas specific to behavior intervention practices, communication strategies, parenting skills, and programming for students who experience severe/profound disabilities (birth-adult).
Ms. Mascorro has over 34 years of experience in the field of Education and received both her Bachelor and Master's degrees from Texas Tech University. She is a native Texan and resides in San Antonio.
