A–F Accountability
Performance Reporting staff met with the Accountability Technical Advisory and the Accountability Policy Advisory Committees on June 8th and 9th to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on 2021 accountability. To view meeting materials and summaries, please visit the 2021 Accountability Development Materials webpage.
The committees will reconvene on July 20th and 21st to review approaches other states are taking for 2021 accountability and to examine various data requests.
Local Accountability System
Due to COVID-19-related uncertainty about school schedules, the local accountability team is adopting a flexible approach to district development of a local accountability plan.
Districts wishing to learn more about the local accountability system and how to develop a district local accountability plan should contact the local accountability system team at LAS@tea.texas.gov to set up a virtual meeting.
Dates for informational webinars scheduled for the fall will be announced soon.
An updated Local Accountability Guide is now available on the website. Please reach out with any questions.
