With 1 in 44 children in the U.S. being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, the spectrum continues to be an everchanging field of study. Research updates become increasingly important in the field of education. The Together for Autism Conference is designed to help parents, educators, and students with these important updates and how to navigate them through education.
2022 ESC19 Teacher of the Year Ramon Benavides has won the Texas State title and will now move on to the national competition. He is a Biology teacher at Del Valle High School and is now the 8th local teacher to win the Texas State title. The workplace has evolved into a technology-centric environment across all fields and positions. Educators have realized this over time and have aptly adapted to prepare students for the workforce upon high school graduation.
