About Dr. Mehta

Jyutika Mehta is a Professor at the Texas Woman’s University. She has over 20 years of experience in the field and is an author of over 100 publications and presentations in Speech-Language pathology. Her research lab is dedicated to the study of speech and language representation in the brain. She is also the current VP of TSHA for Research and Development and has been appointed to the state licensing advisory board (TDLR) of Speech-Language Pathology for a 6-year term starting on January 19, 2024. She has presented on Speech and Language topics in various forums including several on ethics and DEI topics.
