Mathematics K-12
-
Our goal is to ensure all children, no matter where they live, have a fair chance to reach their mathematical potential and become successful. Preparing our students now for the skills we need our leaders to have is a matter of preparation and planning for the future. A bright future depends on the priorities we set today. Our professional learning opportunities and technical assistance employ research-based best practices to support the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR), College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) and national standards. Education Service Center-Region 19 Mathematics department has a stake in building an education system that fosters these skills.
