Financial Assistance for PACA
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE PROGRAM?
The cost of the Principal Alternative Certification Academy is $5,500
ESC-Region 19 Payment Plan:
Tuition Cost: $5,500
- Pre-Service I: $1,375 (September)
- Pre-Service II: $1,375 (December)
- Pre-Service III: $1,375 (March)
- Pre-Service IV: $1,375 (June)
Once accepted into PACA, interns will be provided with a session number to register on Click & Learn for each individual pre-service. Registration and payment on Click & Learn may be done in person or online with the provided session number.
Pre-Service payment and registration is required prior to attending class.
Students utilizing the College Access Loan, MyCAA, or another 3rd party must have applied and been approved before the 1st day of class. Students are responsible for contacting the ACP office and providing documentation of approved funding. If tuition funds are being sent directly to ESC-Region 19, the Alternative Certification office will register the student for the respective pre-service.
Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board – College Access Loan:
Since 1965, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) has provided low-interest loans for students who are Texas residents and are eligible to pay in-state tuition. Because THECB does not sell its loans, all loans are serviced at THECB until they are paid in full.
The College Access Loan Program provides alternative educational loans to Texas students who are unable to meet the cost of attendance.
The My Career Advancement Account Scholarship Program is a is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 of financial assistance to eligible military spouses who are pursuing a license, certification or Associate’s degree in a portable career field and occupation.
