All sessions are offered as part of the commitment form of the TEKS Resource System districts, therefore there is no extra charge for teachers of these districts to attend.      TEKS Resource System101: Just the Basics

     Are you new to the TEKS Resource System? If so, this session is perfect for you! This session will provide:

    • an overview of the TEKS Resource System
    • a preview of the system's curriculum and assessment components
    • an explanation of the interconections between these components

    This is a half-day session.

     TEKS Resource System: Reboot

    This session is designed for district users that have been implementing the TEKS Resource System for more than 2 years. This session will provide participants with:

    • areview/overview of basic navigation
    • areview of the use of the components within the system
    • updates and any new features associated with the TEKS Resource System portal or content-specific changes

    This is a half-day session and it is not content specific. Dates and time are customized to your district/campus needs. Contact us to schedule your session:

     TEKS Resource System: New ELAR/SLAR Standards

    Teachers will go through the planning process using the new resources from the TEKS Resource System for the ELAR/SLAR classrooms. The focus is on grades 3rd-8th but all grade levels are welcome.      TEKS Resource System: Supporting Leadership

    District and Campus administrators have the task of supporting teachers in all content areas and all grade levels. Join us for this session to learn how to use the TEKS Resource System to support you as an instructional leader in the core content areas. We will target using the TEKS Resource System to meet the unique needs of administrators for supporting day-to-day instruction and links to T-TESS.

    When planning instruction, where do we start? As an educator, how do I support planning instruction? Join us for tis session where we unpack the standards and prepare to plan instruction that is directly aligned with the content and rigor specified in the standards.

    • Navigating the new assessment creator

    When planning instruction for my Spanish block, where do we start? As an educator, how do I support planning instruction? Join us for this session where we unpack the standards for K-5 Spanish courses and prepare to plan instruction that is directly aligned with the content and rigor specified in the standards.

    • Navigating the new assessment creator
    • Session will be delivered partly in Spanish
    • SLAR and Estudios Sociales will be a combined session

     TEKS Resource System: Differentiating the Performance Assessment

    How can I differentiate using the TEKS Resource System? Teachers and isntructional leaders alike, join us to engage in the process of differentiating the performance assessment to meet the needs of diverse student populations.

    • Engage in differentiated instruction activities derived from the TEKS Resource System
    • Learn to differentiate the performance assessment in the IFD
    • ELAR and Social Studies will be a combined session

    This session is content specific.
