EDUCATION SERVICE CENTER REGION 19 TO HOST LEAD SUMMIT FOR SCHOOL LEADERS
El Paso, Texas (May 2026) – Education Service Center Region 19 will host the LEAD Summit on June 24, 2026, at the Starlight Event Center, 6650 Continental Drive. This professional learning event is designed to empower school and district leaders with innovative strategies, research-based practices, and practical tools to improve student success.
The summit will bring together educational leaders from across the region for a day of collaboration, professional growth, and inspiration. Participants will hear from nationally recognized speakers and engage in sessions focused on leadership, instructional impact, and the future of education.
The event aims to help school leaders strengthen instructional leadership practices, support teachers, and improve student outcomes while building strong campus cultures.
“Our goal is to highlight the incredible work already happening in schools while creating opportunities for leaders to think boldly about the future of education,” said Teresa Hinojos, Assistant Director of District Administrative Support and Certification Programs at ESC19.
Hinojos said the summit was created to address the unique strengths and opportunities within the Borderland region and provide a space for educational leaders to learn from one another.
“Because of our geographic location and the diverse communities, we serve, our schools and leaders often navigate realities that differ from much of the state,” Hinojos said. “This conference provides an opportunity for leaders to learn from one another, share successful practices, and strengthen the work happening in our schools every day.”
The LEAD Summit will feature keynote presentations and breakout sessions led by experienced educators and leadership experts who will share practical strategies and innovative approaches to leadership in education.
“We have exceptional leaders in our region who are doing the work of true instructional leadership — supporting teachers, improving student outcomes, and building strong campus cultures,” Hinojos added. “One of the goals of this summit is to create space for those leaders to share their expertise and learn alongside one another.”
Organizers say the summit also provides valuable networking opportunities for administrators and leadership teams to connect with peers who share a commitment to educational excellence.
“We are proud to bring together such a strong group of speakers and leaders for this event,” Hinojos added. “The conversations and ideas shared at the LEAD Summit will help strengthen leadership across our schools and support the success of every student we serve.”
