Welcome!
The ESC19 Regional Spanish Spelling Bee offers an exciting platform for students in grades 4th-8th to showcase their linguistic prowess and compete for the opportunity to represent our region at the National competition hosted in El Paso, TX.
This enriching competition not only fosters a love for the Spanish language but also serves as a unique developmental experience for participants. Beyond honing spelling abilities, students gain valuable life skills, including enhanced self-confidence, refined communication and public speaking skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
By supporting or participating in this event, sponsors contribute to the growth and empowerment of our young spellers, helping them build a foundation for future success.
The Regional Competition
DATE: Saturday, May 24, 2025
TIME: Student Sign In at 8:30AM; Competition Begins at 9:00AM
LOCATION: Starlight Event Center, 6650 Continental Drive, El Paso, TX 79925
WHO: Top Two District Winners (grades 4th-8th)

Participants of the Spanish Spelling Bee are encouraged to review the study guide and competition rules found on the National Spanish Spelling Bee website.
Both the regional and Texas state competitions will be hosted by Education Service Center Region 19.
