Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)
ECI offers direct services for children birth to three years of age with a developmental delay, a diagnosed physical or mental condition that has a high probability of resulting in developmental delay or an auditory or visual impairment as defined by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Services are based on the individual needs of each child and are provided in home or community settings. ECI services include but are not limited to:
- Developmental screening, evaluation and specialized skills training services
- Physical, occupational and speech therapy services
- Counseling and nutrition services
- Auditory and vision services
- Case Management and transition services
