Career & Technical Education Certification Program
-
Overview
Education Service Center Region 19 participates in a Statewide Cohort for Career and Technical Education (CTE) certification. The Statewide Cohort is overseen by Region 13 and is an accelerated 12-month program designed to provide a pathway to teacher certification. This program is intended for professionals who already have education, work experience, and/or industry licensure/certification in a content area. The program provides teacher-interns with the background knowledge to be successful in the classroom. The goal of the CTE is to have educators in the classroom who will provide a solid foundation for our students as they make their choices about pursuing both college and a career.
Region 13 has provided us with a list of certification areas. Navigate through the site to learn more about specific certification requirements for the area that you are interested in. Each field will have specific application requirements.
For additional information on critical needs areas, schedules, fees, and the application process visit ESC Region 13 CTE Website.
