Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) Home Page

  • The goal of PBIS is to enhance the capacity of schools to educate all students, especially students with challenging behaviors, by adopting a sustained, positive, preventative, and effective instructional approach to school-wide discipline and behavior management. This school-wide approach focuses on teaching and encouraging positive behavioral expectations and increasing school capacity to support sustained use of empirically validated practices.

     

    Education Service Center- Region 19 is committed to supporting schools with full implemention of this multi-tiered framework by providing comprehensive training, coaching and assessment. We offer three comprehensive service packages for Tier I, Tier II and Tier III. These services are designed to build the capacity of your campus-based team and support PBIS implementation to fidelity. They are designed to be customized to your unique campus and staff needs.
