Are you passionate about understanding and nurturing the social and emotional development  of bright complex kids? We invite you to join our engaging book study, where we will delve into effectiveness strategies and insight to support these exceptional children.

Participants will gain 2 hours of credit for each session, totaling 6 hours upon attending all three dates.

RBIS Math
As part of a broader strategy to significantly increase the number of students in Texas who have access to High-Quality Instructional Materials and instruction, TEA (Texas Education Agency) has developed a set of Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) to articulate the key instructional shifts that are necessary to bring rigorous instruction to life for students on a daily basis. Join us and learn about the four key practices in mathematics that will impact student outcomes and begin to close the achievement gap for all students!
RBIS Dec-March
The AISS Reading Language Arts Team at Region 19 is offering professional learning on Research-Based Instructional Strategies in RLA. Research-Based Instructional Strategies Include: Foundational Skills, Text Complexity, Knowledge Coherence, and Text Based Responses. Participants will analyze current practices and identify key shifts needed in RLA instruction to increase student outcomes.
West Texas Social Studies Congress 2025
We invite you to attend a wide variety of sessions ranging from strands focused on K-5, middle school, high school, special populations (EBs, SPED, and GT), TEKS RS, and many more. Through the collective presentations made at this conference, classroom teachers and campus leadership should be able to identify key elements that strengthen social studies knowledge and skills. National, state, and local presenters will be experts in social studies education. All sessions will be in person at the Starlight Event Center.
My child session
A 3-part series for families that promote school communication, developing an understanding of roles and responsibilities between all adults in the students' academic life. Families will increase awareness of how to connect with everyone involved in a positive productive path.

Participants will have the opportunity to work at their own pace on portions of the institute, learn from consultants, and demonstrate their learning through a variety of activities. Join us and experience hands-on lessons that allow learners to engage with the content and gain a deeper understanding of our nation's history.

JOIN US! Through hands-on activities focusing on whole number operations and fraction concepts, these academies are designed to strengthen participants’ knowledge of mathematics’ concepts and processes, improve overall mathematics instruction, and lead to student success on statewide assessments and post-secondary readiness.
Circle Pre-K
The CIRCLE Preschool Early Language and Literacy Including Mathematics translates research into practice through a variety of hands-on activities that teachers can implement in their classrooms during large group, small group, centers, and one-on-one instruction. Join us!
GT Fall 2021
30 HOUR CORE GT ONLINE MODULES AVAILABLE! Each session encompasses the 30-hour requirement offered twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring semester.

STEAM Conference
ESC19 is excited to present our first West Texas STEAM/STEM conference. The all-day conference will feature sessions and activities designed to enhance the STEAM/STEM experience for students and teachers across our West Texas and Southern New Mexico region. The conference will also host a distinguished group of featured speakers, including our keynote, to provide direct insight into the interactive classroom of tomorrow. Attending designated sessions will also earn GT credit hours. Join us for a full day of learning, networking, and fun at our first annual STEM/STEM Region 19 conference!

We're proud to announce that Claudio Zavala Jr., Adobe Education Evangelist & visionary in the field of digital creative education, along with his specialized team will be in El Paso for this magnificent event! Open to all K-12 educators from across the ESC 19 footprint! We are very excited to invite you to the Adobe Creativity Institute. This experience has been created by teachers, coaches and trainers to provide hands-on learning opportunities designed to easily enhance instruction, empower learners, and foster creativity. This program is developed and presented by educational thought leaders and pedagogy-first instructors from across the country.

West Texas Reading Symposium 2024
"La magia de la biliteracidad". This two-day event will continue to focus on building literacy in early grades and homes. Feb. 23: Teachers and Parents Feb. 24: Teachers only FREE for both teachers and parents. Parent sessions will be in Spanish. Teachers who attend both days may be eligible for a stipend award.
