    Welcome!

    The 2020 Preparing the Workforce of Tomorrow Career and Technical Education Conference is a collaborative effort between ESC Region 19, The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas- El Paso Branch, The Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, our area school districts, and a number of workforce partners to showcase some of the latest updates for CTE Educators. 

    Presenters, exhibitors, and vendors from across the country will engage the audience with ideas and information targeted at our future workforce and help them prepare for an energizing start to the 2020-2021 school year.

    Conference topics:

    • preparing students for high-skill, high-wage and high-demand careers
    • strategies for teaching today’s students
    • learning about instructional technology trends and software
    • specialized career trends.

    Theme:

    This year’s theme will focus on marketing and showcasing CTE programs for effective student recruitment and participation.

    Patricia J. Martin

    Patricia J. Martin is a nationally recognized leader in the reform of school counseling and efforts to design training opportunities to help practicing counselors become an integral part of the primary mission for schools. Patricia J. Martin has over 30 years of experience as a public school educator. In addition, she has served as Senior Program Manager at the Education Trust, Inc., Assistant Vice President for the Middle States Regional Office of the College Board, and as a National Consultant for educational issues to The White House, U.S. Department of Education, The College Board and numerous other government agencies and educational institutions.
