Generation Rescue: Sustainable Water for All
This year they will highlight the importance of climate change, its impact on water resources, and how it forces communities to implement changes. Kids can submit written compositions, paintings, digital media, photography, or music based on the climate change theme.

2022 Take Care of Texas K - 5 Kids Art Contest
Join the Take Care of Texas Program fun way for K-5 students to learn about protecting the environment and come up with creative ways to share this knowledge with others!Take Care of Texas is accepting entries through March 4, 2022. The students that submit the best art can WIN a tablet or laptop computer. Prizes are made possible through a donation from the Texas Chemical Council.

WELDING PROGRAM DONATION
Marathon Petroleum made a grant of $167,000 to El Paso Community College (EPCC) for its Welding and Machining Technology programs housed at the Valle Verde campus.
The grant will fund the latest equipment to train students in these high-demand fields.

Ysleta ISD and El Paso Community College unveiled their new Career Center at Riverside Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) today! This Grand Opening took place at the Valle Verde Transportation Training Center with the intention on expanding career and technical education in students.
