Qualifications
This position requires a minimum of five years teaching experience; experience in conducting ARD meetings, strong communication and effective interpersonal skills, a Master's Degree in Education and must meet qualifications for Education Diagnostician with appropriate certification or licensure, respectively in the state of Texas. Requires computer skills, a valid driver's license, and other such alternatives deemed appropriate by the Executive Director.
Summary
Manages assigned network(s), projects, and programs to assist school districts in implementing federal laws and regulations, state laws and Commissioner and State Board of Education rules that meet the diverse needs of all students. Provides training, technical assistance, activities, and services related to these projects and network activities and regional needs. Services will be based on a region wide needs assessment system that include the priority areas listed in special education state and federal regulations and state deliverables and requirements. This position is partially funded through IDEA B funds.
