School Readiness Coach Preschool, Head Start 2024-2025 Pool
Summary
The School Readiness Coach, Preschool, is responsible for providing mentorship and coaching in the implementation of scientifically-based research curriculum and assessment of children (ages 3-5). This person will plan, implement, and evaluate the goals and objectives of the Preschool Education Service Area. The focus of this position, although not limited to this, is to successfully impact the physical, social/emotional, cognitive, language, and literacy development of young children and ensure their school readiness. This position requires frequent travel to and from various sites to support and enhance teachers' instructional practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education required; at least 3 years of experience in teaching children ages 0-8; experience in curriculum development and planning; ability to work independently and in a team setting; proficient in English and Spanish, both verbally and written; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience as determined by the Executive Director. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
