Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in child development or related area with valid certification to be trained as a fully qualified EIS in the state of Texas (must have some credit hours in child development). Some experience working with children and families is preferred, strong communication skills (bi-lingual English/Spanish is required) and planning/prioritizing skills. Requires a valid Texas drivers' license.

Job Description:
Performs Specialized Skills Training (SST) and case management services for the Early Childhood Intervention Program. Will be responsible for evaluation/IFSP development, direct service delivery and documentation. Provides developmental evaluation/assessment as requested for ECI referrals or for children enrolled in the ECI Program. Provides developmental stimulation services in the child's natural environment as determined by the IFSP committee. Provides developmental re-assessment/re-evaluation as appropriate for children enrolled in the ECI Program. Assists in community awareness activities such as health fairs, workshops, and advisory committee meetings. Documents all services delivered, maintains accurate records for assigned caseload and time studies.
