Project Manager, Evaluation



This position requires a minimum of five years teaching experience; experience in conducting ARD Meetings, strong communication and effective interpersonal skills, a Master’s Degree in Education and must meet qualifications for Education Diagnostician with appropriate certification or licensure, respectively in the state of Texas. Requires computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and other such alternatives deemed appropriate by the Executive Director.




Manage the Child Find, Evaluation, and ARD Supports Project to assist school districts and charter schools in implementing quality FIE and IEP development, as well as the roles in the ARDC to meet the diverse needs of all students.  Provide training, technical assistance, activities, and services specifically related in special education in the areas of ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) training, consultation, and special education compliance issues.  Services will be based on a region wide needs assessment system that includes the priority areas listed in special education state and federal regulations and statewide initiatives and network plan(s).
