Facilitator, Center Operations Services, Head Start Pool 2024-2025
Summary
The Facilitator, Center Operations Services, is responsible for ongoing planning and communication with center management and implementation support teams to ensure timely intervention and follow-up, ensuring that all Head Start/Early Head Start centers maintain compliance with all regulatory entities. This person is responsible for upholding the compliance of the center management’s Licensing Director Certification and maintaining an up-to-date database of regulatory inspections. This person is also responsible for the development, coordination, training, and ongoing monitoring of centers, program self-assessment, and new employee training for center clerks, center managers, and assistant center managers. The Facilitator, Center Operations Services, is responsible for assisting with the coordination and setup of all monthly planning schemes and for assisting in the development and training of the Organizational Scheme for Systems Management. This person is also responsible for the development, collection, and distribution of center operations documentation, including center closing and opening procedures, center master forms, and end-of-month center reports. Additionally, this person will assist with the organizational management and recordkeeping of the Center Operations Services budget. This person is responsible for assisting in addressing and making recommendations to resolve parental concerns from the centers. The person must possess a positive, service-oriented attitude and skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Head Start/Early Head Start personnel.
Qualifications
The qualifying skills for this position are as follows: Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; with at least 3 college credit hours in business management: five (5) years of experience in teaching preschool children; two (2) years of experience in management and supervision in a licensed Child Development setting (preferred); experience and/or knowledge of computer information systems; knowledgeable of local, state, and federal compliance standards for Head Start centers; proficient in English/ Spanish, both verbally and written; or equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience as determined by the Executive Director.
